Housing / Ceiling estimator and scheduler
We are offering a career opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated housing scheduler and estimator to join our friendly team at our Rockingham office. The successful applicant for this full time position must have previous experience as a residential scheduler, with excellent organisational, communication and computer skills. 3 years minimum previous experience is required along with the following capabilities
- Schedule materials / orders in a timely and effective manner
- Estimating Ceiling and Wall systems
- Cost plans, bills of quantities and checking prices
- Negotiate tender price with clients / builders and compile tenders to meet deadlines
- Support Managers and supervisors, liaise with suppliers
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Thorough knowledge of residential construction
- Have exemplary communication skills
- Ability to meet company deadlines
- Excellent organizational and problem solving abilities
- Demonstrate sound computer skills
- Ability to take direction and work autonomously
- Tracking and trending of work activities, & populating reports for internal requirements.
